Article 1 (NEWT Points Service)

Reiwa Travel, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) operates a points service as part of its services for Members (hereinafter referred to as “Members”, meaning users who have accepted the Company’s Membership Terms and Conditions and completed member registration) of “NEWT”, the Company’s travel service. Under this service, the Company issues NEWT Points consisting of (i) standard points (hereinafter referred to as “Standard Points”) awarded for qualifying transactions as prescribed by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “Point-Earning Transactions”) in accordance with the Company’s prescribed conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Point-Earning Conditions”), and (ii) limited points (hereinafter referred to as “Limited Points”) awarded through participation in campaigns and similar promotions (Standard Points and Limited Points are collectively referred to as “NEWT Points”). Members may use NEWT Points toward prescribed qualifying transactions within the Company’s services (hereinafter referred to as “Point-Redemption Transactions”) in accordance with the Company’s prescribed methods (hereinafter referred to as “Point-Redemption Conditions”).

Article 2 (Transactions Eligible for NEWT Points Earning)

1.  Standard Points

(1) The Company shall award Standard Points to Members who have completed a Point-Earning Transaction as set forth in sub-paragraph (2) below, in accordance with the Point-Earning Conditions. Where the Member who made the reservation and the traveler are different persons, the Standard Points shall be awarded to the Member who made the reservation.

(2) Point-Earning Transactions means purchases of package tour products sold through NEWT for which the award of Standard Points is expressly indicated at the time of reservation. Arrangements for travel products made through the Company’s Travel Concierge service are not eligible for Standard Points.

(3) Standard Points shall be awarded only for Point-Earning Transactions that have been completed in accordance with the prescribed rules. Points shall not be awarded for transactions that were not completed due to cancellation, no-show, or similar circumstances.

2.  Limited Points

(1) The Company shall award Limited Points to Members who have participated in the campaigns set forth in sub-paragraph (2) below, in accordance with the terms and conditions of each campaign.

(2) Campaigns eligible for the award of Limited Points (hereinafter referred to as “Point-Earning Campaigns”) means those campaigns whose terms and conditions expressly state that Limited Points will be awarded. Campaigns that do not include such express statement are not eligible for Limited Points.

Article 3 (Point-Earning Conditions)

1.  The Point-Earning Conditions for Standard Points are as follows:

(1) The amount eligible for Standard Points is the total reservation amount displayed on the NEWT reservation screen (limited to amounts displayed in Japanese Yen). The following amounts are excluded from the eligible amount:

(i) Additional charges for optional tours, meals, or similar items arranged by the Member directly without going through NEWT;

(ii) Taxes and service charges not included in the aggregate amount displayed on NEWT (such as consumption taxes and service fees displayed separately); and

(iii) Cancellation fees.

(2) The amount of Standard Points to be awarded shall be calculated by multiplying the amount eligible for Standard Points by the applicable award rate. The award rate displayed on the NEWT reservation screen shall apply.

(3) Standard Points shall be awarded on the 7th day of the month following the month in which the travel constituting the Point-Earning Transaction is completed.

(4) Where a coupon or NEWT Points are used in connection with a Point-Earning Transaction reservation, the Standard Points award amount shall be calculated based on the amount after application of the coupon or Points discount.
